What a wonderful song. I don't know the original, but I'm glad you did this! I am getting closer to the song title, trying tomake the most of the years I have left.....

You did a great job here, the vocals and harmonies are superb, and I love the combination of reso and banjo. It's all beautifully recorded and put together as well. A really enjoyable listen, had me smiling from start to finish.

BTW, I saw you commented on Greeny's post about having problems hearing in headphones. If your hearing is going, it's worth getting a decent set of hearing aids (if you don't have them already). A revelation for me has been the ability to wear them with headphones over the top, so that makes using headphones a lot easier.

Hey Charlie last spring we had the last Froggy Bottom music festival here in Mississippi. We would have a concert spring and Fall at a lake near here been going on for ten years usually get people from Fla, MI MS WI and NC. Any where from 30 to 40 Musicians show up starts at noon every band gets 15 min and it goes until nobody wants to pay anymore and ends with a jam that anybody can play. It was nice a lot of people would donate food  and we would hire a sound tech and couple caters to feed everyone and everything was free. Invite only crowd and you could bring friends.
