Just a bit of silliness ....

So I go to see the band with the pretty girl singer
She wears the shortest little skirt and a ring on every finger
My ears upon her voice my eyes upon her face
I'm sipping on a beer and I'm feeling out of place
Bangles on her wrist jingle jangle to the beat
Everybody on the floor or tapping their feet
And she looks at me with green eyes clear
I head towards the stage and I forget about my beer.

We're smoking in the car park joking and talking
Cicadas are clicking, frogs are squawking
Got my arm around her shoulders my hand upon her breast
She points her left leg to the east her right leg to the west.
My pulse is popping I can't keep still
She said there and then if you want to then I will
So we're rocking and rolling in the back seat of my car
My face is in her hair her eyes are on the stars

Heart like a kick drum, soul and spirit of a gospel choir

Moody as a murder of crows, wit as sharp as a gothic spire

Now it's twenty years later and our kids are too smart
They question all my answers put the horse behind the cart
The births took her figure and her voice got hard
The kids take all the money and the weeds have got the yard
And the cold can of beer was the last one in the pack
She's looking at me and I know she's gonna attack
But I would n't change a thing for all the beer in the world
Cos deep in my heart I still love the pretty girl

I liked this right from the start!! Good rhythm, catchy vocals and some tasty piano additions!

Usually not a big fan on any song with clapping... However, this one is great with or without! 

A real fun tune with relatable story. By the end I was tapping along with the clapping!

All the little musical touches that tie the lyrics to the music make this a real winner!
