This is great.

A few decades back, early 1990s, I went to a coffee house in Hamilton Ontario Canada, and there was an open mic night, and a local amateur blues historian who had researched obscure and lesser known blues musicians, and found and restored some recordings and some historical records of these guys and also liked to play the blues got up to the mic and sang, and I felt like I had been transported back to some gin joint in Mississippi over a hundred years earlier.

Your song also feels instantly old, and the feeling it generated was magic.  Great work.  I think that the Blues is going somewhere inside that speaks to the human soul directly.  Keep on working on the blues.

While I was listening to this I imagined myself sitting in an old house and listening to an old 78 RPM record on an old Victrola.  It has that rustic quality.  Great work.

Hi, nice to see you back Jules, and a nice bit of rhythm n blues.

I like the EQ'ing and the playing, singing and tracking are impressive.

Nice one all round.

I agree with the others...it has a 60s or even 50s recording type sound to it...and that is cool... I was looking at your juke box and I see it's been 5 years since you posted anything song wise.... hope it ain't 5 more til the next one.... good playing and singing...would like to hear more about your process of recording etc.....

Love the soul and authenticity in this. Really captures the kind of blues music and blues recording era I like best. Great performance and production, and some really good guitar chops. Damn cool!
