I love alot of Neil Young's music and this is one that I played with on and off for a long time...as far as learning the song.  I recorded using the PRS Harley Benton guitar and Epiphone bass, alesis drums, and my grandfathers antique Hohner dual reed harmonica (long story about that).  I used a few vocal embellishments so that I could actually stand listening to this... but really love the song and wanted to do it.... so here it is...recorded and mixed totally on my two BR-1600 CDs... which i have been incorporating alot of the EQ suggestions I have gotten from folks on the site here and it really does help....

Cool cover, Stephen - you captured the NY vibe on the guitar leads and vocals very well.

You have really caught the Neil Young vibe with this cover Stephen. The vocal, the soloing are spot on, heck excellent on all accounts!

Yeah... very good version indeed. Loving the vocal, don't think you needed to disguise it in any way from what I can hear. Sounds very good - it has that spirit of the Neil Young vocal in spades. And yeah... cool guitar work.

I can only echo what has already been said. You've clearly captured The Neil Young sound. Very well done.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Sorry i missed this one Steve ,  this is one of my all time best songs ever , you have pulled out all the stops for this recording , your vocal is spot on for this song , and your guitar man "bloody marvelous" , you just nailed the lead , with the guitar sound and the phrasing , they dont make songs like that anymore , which is a shame , but you have kept that laid back spirit and feel he has in his playing , really enjoyed the track and your playing

Well in Steve
