A short break between the installation of two sheets of plasterboard to finish the ceiling of my music room (it's boring, but it has to be done!).
played with my telecaster made in Harley Benton "à deux balles" (cheap))

This piece by Roy Buchanam turns on a simple and repetitive cadence Am, G, F, B7, E
as it's in the Am scale, no alteration, so I also did the keyboard part  :) (and the bass part) just BIAB for the drums
I was inspired by Gary Moore's and Roy Buchanan's versions, the last two cadences are improvised.

You did a great Job , one of my all time favourite guitar tracks , and by two totally different styles , seen Gay Moore live in Manchester a few years ago , incredible Player with such passion and skill , and I believe Ray Buchanan was short listed to play for the Rolling stones at one point, great stuff excellent

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

I didn't know this, and indeed I saw in Roy Buchanan's biography on wikipedia that he had been approached (as had many guitarists at the time) to replace Brian Jones.
..he had to refuse and I think he did a good job with his very discreet stage presence wouldn't have fit too well with Mick Jagger's stage exuberance (although I also love MJ's stage exuberance). :)

I modified the MP3 render a bit and I reloaded this new version...trying to add some volume variation effects on the attack of some notes because it was a characteristic of Roy Buchanan's playing...he used to do it  in live with the volume knob of his telecaster,...I can't do it  :(, so I did it on reaper to the mix...

I was commenting on a track that had just finished on the jukebox and this started, I thought that sounds just like Gary Moore.

Incredible, it sounds just like Gary Moore. Tone, style, nuance, the lot.

Very fine indeed.

Tres bien!
