The lawn mower broke, honest i didn't sabotage it, so i was at a loose end. so i decided to go in the cellar and have a go at a collab with Mike_s  on his King and country track the original is here https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=29861.msg353994#msg353994 Mike was kind enough to let me have a play on this track he had taken the lead of so i was left with a backing track. So i took it for a whirl and came up with a kind of Physcodelic Oasis thing. I hope you enjoy i certainly did doing it Thanks Mike
We were Strolling down sunset boulevard
We hadn't got a dime
We came to a news stand by the Chateau Marmont
There was a headline shouting show time
I said to my friend want are we going to do to try to fill our day
So We closed our eyes and clicked our heals and suddenly we were away
The devil held my hand in a clear blue sky
And we danced amongst the clouds
The people below like ants looked up and just smiled
The people below like ants looked up and just smiled
The people below like ants looked up and just smiled

Yesterday became tomorrow,
And Today was gone
The sky dripped down into darkness and we became one
The  Colours like whispers slowly disappeared
The patterns before my eyes looked weird

The people like ants looked up and just smiled
The people like ants looked up and just smiled
The people like ants looked up and just smiled
The people like ants looked up and just smiled
The people like ants looked up and just smiled
The people like ants looked up and just smiled

The collaboration works well, guys and I can definitely hear a kind of Oasis influence. Also a little bit of 60's psychedelia lyrically. Cool stuff, guys; well done.

Trevor you put a whole new angle on this. It really made me smile when I heard it. It definitely is a little trippy now which always floats my boat. Getting that slight Oasis vibe... but not too much, it's definitely got a unique vibe going on. And those lyrics, nice and suitably "out there"... a wee bit Hendrixy in that psychadelic style. Thank you Trevor.

Fantastic collab guys.
Great backer Mike, and before I read the description i'm thinking , "hey... that sounds like..."
Love the way you are holding back to sing this Trev.

Great theme and collaboration! Dig the lyrics and contrast between vox and backing.

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Brilliant imagery in the lyrics Trev, and great vocal performance. Very nicely controlled and fits the music beautifully. Really enjoyed this one, great additions to a great track, well done!

That was fun. I certainly get the 60's psychedelia in the lyrics, and it fits the whimsical music. Nice collab.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
