..if the iconic message Spanish or World Music or Charango  existed, I would have put it on  ;)
Hasta Siempre, Comandante" is a 1965 song by Cuban composer Carlos Puebla. Since its creation, the controversy has not wavered: should we commemorate this "figure of the revolution turned militant and romantic icon"? Or should we avoid paying homage to a bloodthirsty, misogynistic and homophobic dictator?
Nevertheless, the song was a worldwide success and a multitude of covers (more than 200 versions worldwide ...).
I don't judge the content of the lyrics (... and besides I didn't understand the meaning ... I just like this Latin melody...

a friend brought a charango from Peru to my daughter.
it is a 5 double strings instrument usually tuned GCEEAE, the double strings are in unison.

I wanted to try to make something out of it ... and I had a hard time making the little gadget in sixteenth notes! ????
an Argentinean friend told me that I have a very good accent (nice but liar)
also fun to do voices the Buena vista way ????
otherwise nylon acoustic guitar

Amazing sounds and performance! I feel like I always learn something about music instruments when I hear your songs. Always interesting... always a pleasure.

Like you, I am wary of the subject matter but I did not understand the words so that helped! The charango sounds really interesting and certainly gives a very latin flavour to this. As always, great singing and unique instrumentation. More fascinating music from you!

Thanks to all of you!
"c'est l'occasion qui fait le larron" opportunity make the thief!my son-in-law Guillaume had lent it to me a few days

the charrango is a 5-stringed instrument the case is made with the shell of a tattoo!
the strings are tuned like this G4 G4 - C5 C5 - E5 E4 - A4 A4 - E5 E5 E5

I've had a hard time playing a bit of it...and I wouldn't do it again!

NB I found a good page about tuning stringed instruments HERE
