Brilliant songwriting and performance, guys! The chorus is so catchy and I agree with tonyc about Men at Work comparison.

Ken's guitar additions are just outstanding! Dan, do you play real drums on your songs, sounds like real ones? If so, it's great work.

I'm on my second listening...you guys are so dynamic duo!

This is a belter...what I loved was the Ian Hunter Mott the Hoople feel but with better recording... the space is in the song makes it really big.. the guitars sound great and the keyboards... plus the vocals are really solid and then the lead....very nice.... this is the first of Dan that I heard...and I only saw his name because i saw it in another thread on the GD (general discussion board)
Freaking awesome music Ken....the lead reminds me of the lead to "stairway to heaven."

Greeny hears a Supertramp vibe.

tonyc and Redler hear similarities to Men at Work.

StephenM feels Ian Hunter / Mott the Hoople

I was reminded of Alice Cooper's ballads.

Good stuff!

Thanks everyone. its lovely to read your comments. This version owes a hell of a lot to Ken as he did much of the work for this one. He only had a real old demo to go by but we got there in the end.

Wouldn't mind revisiting this or another colab soon as im sure we have both become more accustomed to the modern recording technology  :o 8)

I hear this song from time to time on my car usb port that has many SC songs on it.... often I listen to various artists from the site in random order.  I always just absolutely love this song..... it's so good... and now that I know a little about Dan's work after having listened a bit and collabing on one and also same with Ken I can hear both influences in this great song....
the drums sound fantastic....really love the vocals... Dan sings so good
it's all great...
I stick with my orig thoughts as well...
