WOW! I haven't been on here in several weeks. How's everyone doin'?!?!

I had a mode of inspiration here this afternoon, so I finished a project I have been tinkering on and off with for a month of so.(mostly off)

Here's a cover of Cinderella's "Heartbreak Station". (remember those guys?  :D)

I called it an "augmentation" because I fiddled with the chords and messed around with some vox stuff. However, as opposed to other types of augmentations, it does not necessarily "enhance" the song.   :o

Cheers all!!

This place exploded over the past 2-3 weeks - You'll never catch up! :P

I do remember Cinderella - Shouldn't admit it  :D, but I thought they were a pretty cool band.

Great stuff - cool vox and an excellent natural guitar sound. Don't get a lot of that here...

Catch you later,

Mark

Beautifully done - lovely clean acoustic tone, great vocal, subtle harmonies. Sounds pretty perfect to me.

And yeah... you'd need another 2 or 3 weeks solid just to catch up!!!

Oh well ........

Bro

Really a beautiful song!

Great job, there is something in the vox which i really liked, don't really know what it is :) Wonderful!!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Welcome back brew!  Cool cover!

Cinderella is one of my favorite hair bands and i usually play the rockers myself, but this is great - singing - guitar!

Thanks, all. Glad to be back. Thanks for the warm re-welcoming. Will be slow going, but I hope to catch as many as I can. This was fun to do. Had been driving me crazy for weeks that it was stewing.

I dont mind admitting I was a fan of Cinderella...Night Songs rocked! And Heartbreak Station was a really good rocking blues album that has held up nicely over time.
I was really a big fan of 80s metal, but only if it had substance...helps if it exceeds its shelf life nicely.

I really like your cover of this song...Im a newb and dont want to criticize, BUT I kept wishing you had backed up your vocals...especially around the lyric "last train" and a couple of the others. I wanted that backer to be there so bad that I began to hear it, and then it wasnt there. Easy fix, right?
Other than that...that was awesome, great job!

Hey man! Criticize away! Anytime. Tell me if you like it. Tell me if you hate it. That's why I post stuff. Yes, real easy fix. To be honest, there is already a collab of this song in the works that I should be posting in a week or so. Keep a keen eye out for it.

Thanks,
