I listened to the version I made of turn turn turn turn!  (3 years ago)..and I didn't think it was very good!  :(

So,  I did a new version inspired by Josh Turner, an outstanding YOU TUBER, multi-instrumentalist and singer.

This version is with 3 holds of my 12 electro acoustic strings and it's in Open C (like open D, one tone lower).

all three vocals are picked up on her YT video.

12-string LAG guitar, Precision HB bass, tambourine

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

This is so cool, I have always loved open tunings but never explored them like i should. I love this version and who could not love those harmonies. As some of you are aware i like the whole psychedelic sounds of the late 60's so this is right up my street :)

Very nice JP, you captured the jangle of the Byrds really well but your vocals give this a different (and very nice) feel. Bravo!

Excellent work, JP. You definitely got the McGuinn jangle, and the vocals & harmonies are lovely. Cool.

It's really interesting what you did here. I'm not familiar with the Josh Turner version (and couldn't find it just now). I don't think I've ever heard a 12-string played this way. I also like how you hold back the bass and tambourine for so long. Very effective.

thanks Ted for this bump

..a Bump, it's always a pleasure, ..and especially if you don't do it yourself for yourself  :D
(ce qui m'arrive assez souvent ! :(  )

I had at that time only one 12 string, acoustic LAG and I tried to reproduce the so special sound of the Birds and Roger Mc Guinn, with a plug ins Guitar Rig

I did this cover because I heard Josh Turner on YT
Joshua Lee Turner  (the other Josh Turner  :) , is a fabulous multi-instrumentalist and singer of Broklin

here is this version

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZw1YdiR4EY

it has the particularity to be played in Open C (like open D but one tone lower)

Since I bought a 12 strings electric guitar Harley BENTON, that I recommend you for an occasional use, because of its ridiculous price! 268 euros against 2700 euros for its original Rickenbacker model

vous pouvez entendre la Harley Benton en situation dans ma reprise de tambourin man  ;) , sur SC
