The Warriors

V1
All through the ages......the story is told
At the fires of festivals and feasts
Of warriors..... that protect..... young and old
They defeat.....evil threats.....and the beasts.

V2
They bring the villians....out of the darkness
With the power of light as their igniter
They stand...on the side.....of righteousness
This band.....is called ......Lightfighters

V3
A boy in the village....wooden spear in hand
Fights demons in imaginary lands
How little....does he know....he's being watched
It's bravery.....that they need.....for the band........

V4
Now stands a strong man.....his foes are real
He's a hunter with the sharpness of steel
That provides.....wholesome bounty.....for his people
He's chosen...as the one....to fend off evil

V5
Now he brings villains....out of the darkness
With the power of light as his igniter
He stands...on the side.....of righteousness
His band.....is called ......Lightfighters

Lightfighter.................

This is great fun! I too was transported back to the 70s, it immediately reminded me of Thin Lizzy with the raucous guitars at the start but then went Uriah Heep meets Deep Purple. The guitar and keys are superb and the lyrics just fit it so well. Nicely sung as well. You certainly do some varied collaborations.

Brilliant, just brilliant Work by all. Yeah definitely got a little bit of a Lizzy vibe in those lead harmonies. I am also getting a bit of a Ritchie Blackmore in that guitar solo. Keys sound brilliant and those little touches of keys filling out the sound in the verses is beautiful. Can't sign of without a nod to the drums too... and damn, the vocals and bass are bloody excellent too.
