Too bad, give or take a few years, I could have put it on the forties festival cover -- it's from 1924.
I first heard it from Stefan Grossman on his record "How to play ragtime guitar".

Id second that. Its so much harder than it looks to play ragtime on an acoustic. I always loved Rag Mamma but sadly my rendition falls far short of the mark.

This however is a great rendition and is played beautifully i do admire acoustic players as its much easier to hide many a sin with distortion etc... Acoustic you are very much laid bare and have to pretty much nail it which you Sir certainly have done

I enjoyed watching you play but I was getting a bit jealous of your left hand finger joints. There's doesn't seem to be much evidence of arthritis there, your left hand looks in much better shape than mine....

thank you my friend, no arthritis in the fingers by chance but a lot of other age-related defects I won't list them here...
fortunately I take care of myself with Whisky (and rosé wine) and I'm fine...
