I don't know if it's a 'cover', but the idea is just this one - make a modern recording as if it was a song. Alf gave me the idea recalling the italian band 'rondò veneziano' in a recent post (rondò veneziano - classic music in salsa pop - was my very first bought album, along with michael jackson's thriller).
I choosed K525 by Mozart cause the call it 'the easy one', BOYS it's been NOT easy at all !!!

Brilliant stuff,  Max.
Great work.   I would love to have a go at the great G minor symphony (or at least part of it) but it's a lot of work.

Really enjoyed this.

Paul.

Brilliant... I can imagine that wasn't easy, but the end result is marvelous. Great work.

brilliant - I used to play this way back when. Like when I was practicing 6 hours a day.

great arrangement!...it reminds me of the great French pianist-composer Jacques Loussier's "jazz" arrangements of great classical music, especially Bach but also Mozart as here

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Beautiful! Bravo!

I tip my hat to your keyboard prowess.

My French friend listened to Rondò Veneziano back in the 80's when nobody else in the UK had heard of them. He was also a massive Abba fan when they were deeply unfashionable here. Turns out he was the one with real taste!

Lovely work, very nicely done. A really fun interpretation of a classic piece of music. Beautifully played as well, bravo.

I don't know about 'rondò veneziano', but Keith Emerson made a career of ripping off classical music and putting it in a rock context. He got into trouble a number of times for using classical music without crediting the source.

Excellent piece of music.
You play so well.
I love the different styles coming in to this site.
It has come alive.
Well done.
