BR 600 Plug in power

Does this exist? i don't see where it turns on.

Found out it doesn't after all-I couold use the theMBR ad a preamp line out to line in to the 600 in a pinch though

It doesn't exist?? I really thought I read it somewhere. I downloaded the manual but its true I can find it anywhere.

What a pity, such a cool device doesn't support plugin power...

Plug in power is usually only found in very small portable recorders like the Micro BR, Roland R-09, Zoom H2, etc.

Oh I see.

Does the BR-600 have a preamp for dynamic microphones? I know it doesn't support Phantom Power.

Yes, the BR-600 has two 1/4" TRS Mic inputs. It doesn't have phantom power, but it includes an XLR-to-TRS adapter cable and you can use a phantom-powered mic with a separate power supply, like this one:
