Bump for those who like me have no memory,..and for the young generation of SC users :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ0DNEI23R4

I did so many covers on SC that I don't remember all of them and I was sometimes tempted to do them again not having thought I had already done it! (like the Stormy monday blues...) :(

..and I didn't remember this one which is quite successful and I'm republishing it to broadcast it on my YT channel

Why don't you do right is a women's jazz and blues standard, written, composed, and first recorded in 1936 by Kansas Joe McCoy (and his band Harlem Hamfats). It became a famous hit in 1943 with the recordings of American jazz singer Peggy Lee accompanied by Benny Goodman's famous jazz & swing big band on Columbia Records1. It is successfully covered in particular by Jessica Rabbit (Roger Rabbit's wife) in Robert Zemeckis' 1982 film Who Wants Roger Rabbit's Skin.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Glad I got to hear this (thanks for the bump, Alex). Really stylish and jazzy. Your voice fits perfectly, and the guitar sounds great.

Jean Pierre

Thank you, folks...
it's true we can't see and hear everything on SC...although now with the Corona Containment we have more time... :( :)

Oh, yeah, I put a little video on YT, by the way.

Brilliant JP. Really nice playing, I like the percussive feel you have on this one. The vocals sound great and it's a really good listen. Glad I caught up on this one.

Nice one JP ,great playing.
A great performance as always.
Like the video but you might be subject to copyright infringement
regarding the clip so be careful with that ????they have a way of spotting these things.

Merci Kenny, vous avez raison,..but there's so much "copyright infringement" on YouTube, starting with the music covers.
but since it's for non-commercial use and as a quote, I think it can't go any further than removing the video.
...although the Studio >Dysmey is formidable ... while the same one makes a cartoon "Notre Dame de Paris" without ever quoting Victor Hugo the author of the novel

....I'd like to get your opinion, all of you, on this subject, maybe on a general discussion thread. ?
