BR800 - Recording with Backing Tracks

Started by rbfigueira, January 12, 2020, 08:32:07 AM

Hi Friends,

I am new here and I have this awesome device that I bought it last month.

I have some backing tracks that I need to play over it. I can transfer the file (WAV format) and play it using the button option (SONG SKETCH) BUT I can't record the guitar playing.

What is the best way to use the WAV backing tracks and record the guitar playing over it ?

Many thanks

You should create a new song rather than use sketch. Then using the wav converter software transfer your wav file to a stereo track. You will then have 4 mono and one stereo track to put your additions on. I am sitting in my car using my mobile. So I can't provide you a link for the wavconvertor software. Once home I will link you to the page where you can get it and how to use it.

I've only messed around on a few friends Br800 but I think the inportant thing is that you are in song scketch mode and need to be in Muti Track mode.
Welcome & good luck, hoping to hear something from you!
