Well, the video is a bit approximate (sound/image shift) but it's just to show the instruments used the magaphone with a plastic milk bottle, the Gibson 1920 banjolele (authentic), the dobro, the whashboard which is actually a sorting board of pharmacists' drugs (pills) in the 1940s, the UKE Bass, and at the beginning a gramophone PATHE from the 1930s

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Great video JP - such an unusual range of instruments but you seem to be a master of them all. Very versatile ! I love your attic studio !

It seems your ingenuity knows no bounds, thank you so much for showing us how it was done. By the way, at the moment I am very much intrigued by French band Caravan Palace. They also play music with a 20's flavour but with a mixture of traditional and modern instruments. If you ever get a minute or two spare, have a look on YouTube, I don't think you will be disappointed.  Willie

Thank you Willie
I listened to Caravan Palace (a French band?...I don't know if the singer is French?...)
I didn't know; indeed a rather electro band (drum machine, synth) but tinged with gypsy jazz (guitar, violin and double bass
Well, the few songs I listened to are all on a very fast BPM and always around 110-120...I like pretty average ;)

Had a quick look on Wikipedia and it seems the girl singer with Caravan Palace is English although I find that surprising. Don't know how much of Wikipedia is to be trusted though.

Loved this JP, fabulous work and great to see all the instruments in action! I love this 20s/30s jazz style and I grew up listening to the Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band doing this kind of stuff. Great fun and another great track from you.
