Good stuff. Just what I needed. The video gives some poignancy to the title.

Lately I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos of Christopher Hitchens — including ones he made late in his life when he knew he was dying of cancer. I appreciate how he bravely embraced the knowledge that "alone" is how life is lived.

Thank you, much appreciated.  I will definitely check out Christopher Hitchens.  The drums are sampled, but glad to hear they sound good.  I try to mix up the recording levels of each attack so it sounds more acoustic.

I'm catching up on about 20 hours of music I've acquired over the last year, but haven't given a proper listen in good headphones. I shuffle all of this new music, and if I don't recognize the artist I resist the temptation to look before the song is over.

This song came on yesterday when I was out for a walk. I wondered who the hell it was.

I don't remember buying anything that sounds like this. 

When did I develop good taste?
