Seems like forever since i last posted a song. This one took a while to complete, during the recording process battery power ran out and corrupted my SD card so had to start from scratch, which was fortunate as i was starting to get to know it by then  ;D

Anyway it is what it is.
Darkness surrounds me
I can't see the light
As the road splits in two
Should I turn left or right
What's the worst that could happen
Ach I worry too much
About the things i can't change
I should change the things i can
I need you
Here by my side
I need you
To hold me tight
I need you
Here by my side
I need you
So hold me tight
I'm out of step
Can't find the beat
I need a push
Just to make the leap
From my comfort zone
To the real wide world
I've been wrapped up in cotton wool
For way too long
I need you
Here by my side
I need you
To hold me tight
I need you
Right here by my side
I need you
So hold me tight
And we will walk by the shore
To the sound of the waves
And watch the sun set
Hand in hand
I Need You

That's a sweet song - glad it survived after the debacle with the SD card and emerged sounding so fresh.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Yes love the tune, but, is the thing that gets me there is the driving bass.

Wow, it has been a while since songcrafting for me ~~~ Good one for sure, James and one more for my Higgins library ~~~ I am sure you would not like to redo it, but felt that a nice bit of guitar leads would fit right in right @ about 2:02, and before the final chorus..... abrazos

Yeah ~ I learned the hard way.  Had an entire palm drive that I used as a backup with gazillion gigabites that cannot access now, not even the "gurus" can access it ~~~~ and had not only music, and recordings, but most importantly a bunch of engineering (and assortments) design worksheets and database I developed and took me years to work and refine...  When my laptop gave out and could not retrieve data, the back up was "the one palm drive" ==> The shits, so now I have to active backup drives ~~~ hahaaa

That was a very cool way to end the song. Miss that voice.
