My version of the wonderful "My Funny Valentine", composed in 1937 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart for the musical "Babes in Arms". Inspirated by the IMMENSE Chet Baker version...

 it's a pleasure to hear that beautiful tune again.
I had done a version with Melodica, some time ago, you listened to it...
I would like to do a Jazz standard theme ( in slow tempo ) with you in guitar/melodica duo...if the opportunity and desire presents itself

PS it is good from time to time to deposit covers of jazz standards on SC......

I love the tone on this and the playing is as smooth  as a hot knife through butter.
Now ove got to admit Im not a great jazz fan(sorry JP) but I can appreciate Beuitifull playing and this my friend is a great example.

Damn, this is really good and I am ashamed to say i do not know the original. what a great performance and a lovely sound from your guitar. Nice and mellow, but with a nice little bit of bite too... awesome work!
