I did a research on SC, in the Beatles festivals and I did not find a cover of this song "I'll be back" which closes the Hard day's night album in 1964
It was a good timing because I wanted to cover it: I always liked the alternations of A major/ A minor of this song

materiel
electro acoustic bass guitar
12 string guitar, 3 tracks
the vocals are played in a plug in WAVES ABBEY ROAD CHAMBER which allows to reproduce (a little) the sound of this mythical studio in the 60s
only Drums with BIAB

Very good cover JP. The Abbey Road Chamber effect does give it a Beatles feel somehow - interesting !

Very enjoyable listen.

it's not my favorite song from the "Fab Four" but you did it very well...
Very good cover JP!
It seems the Abbey Road Chamber plugin gives a specific Beatles sound... Great!

That's a good cover, I do know this song and some of the feeling of the Beatles original comes through.

I love, love, love the Beatles, and you did a great job.  Though somehow this is a tune I must have only rarely listened to.

I have been looking at the ABBEY ROAD CHAMBERS plugin myself (missed buying it recently at $29...darn it!).
I have the ABBEY ROAD PLATES though, and J37 Tape, and Reel ADT
Fun experimenting with plugins.

Do you have any other mixing/mastering tips, or plugins to recommend to get a Beatles sound?

thank you all guys
and for Desofree

yes I bought for 29 euros (against about 300 euros for a normal price!) the ABBEY ROAD CHAMBER plugins from Waves but frankly I am a little...perplexed ...I think we can do as well with more plug ins free reverb and delay....
otherwise there are a lot of tutorials on YT if you type "How to sound like Beatles", more or less interesting (and ultimately quite useless) ;)
