OasisFest (banner image missing)

I caught this song on You Tube recently and remembered how much I like it. Sorry, but I do love Oasis. I don't necessarily care for their antics but I love their music.

Anyway, a couple of days later I noticed that we were having and Oasis fest and thought that this was meant to be. I am surprised that no-one has covered it yet.

It took me a while to decide how to do it and I may have overcooked the guitar fill that lasts almost the whole song, but I had fun none-the-less.

Cheers to all,

Ian

Good version Ian ! I've always liked the earlier Oasis stuff - in fact we used to cover this song in a band I was in in the late 90's. Hoping to do something myself for the Oasis fest - it's been an unusually hot summer here in the UK and  too clammy to be sitting with headphones on and a guitar after a long day at work. Anyway, got till the end of August to get my lazy ass into gear !

Very nice and a very good voice for the song...

Great job Ian. You did a fine job here. I went to see Noel Gallagher in concert in Dublin a few months ago. He was very good and when he did this all 9,000 people stood up and sang along... was powerful stuff.

Fantastic cover Ian.

Nice cover and great vocals in particular. Maybe at times the lead guitar is a bit pronounced in the mix but it doesn't detract from the feel of the song. It's true to the feel of the original IMO and you did a great job.
