I have been angry since June 2016. I wake up angry, I'm short tempered and irritated throughout the day and I go to sleep angry. It's this post-truth era we live in, where facts and truth are ignored and populist opinions and 'the way we feel' are what decisions are based upon by those who ignore truth and fact that affect all of our lives.
My opinion is that vaccines work, that there are no chemtrails, that the earth is approximately spherical, we evolved alongside monkeys, fluoride prevents tooth decay, tin-foil hat wearers ought not to be in positions of influence or authority. I don't want to rule the world, I just want those who do to do so for the benefit of us all, not just their mates and themselves.


You've encapsulated that here James, I would have set the lyrics to thrash metal and delivered it via a four inch shell, but yours is effective.

After I read "i had a ton of lyrics written for this one, inspired by thon numpty rewriting the history of the 1980s on BBC4. obviously he was still in his nappies when the eighties occurred, anyway I am ranting now." = you had me trying to find the historian/author Thon Numpty to read their thoughts...Fabricated history.  could not find this historian ~ hahaaahaaa, but did find two definitions for the Scottish words for Thon and for Numpty (as I was not familiar with their use (or the author, ha)):

Thon: indicating something more remote from a person than another or others.

Numpty: A very descriptive word for someone who perhaps has a wee lapse of concentration, or even a 'senior moment”, resulting in them doing something pretty stupid'! Other appropriate words could be dunderheid, eejit, glaikit, daft or maybe even 'no' the full shillin'?

Is this what you meant by thon numpty?
