Once upon a time the revolution is above all a double tragedy, two films in one:

- a terrible love tragedy against a backdrop of Irish revolution that forced Sean Mallory (James Coburn) to flee his homeland after the betrayal of his best friend with whom he shared the same love for the same woman.
- a frightful drama that is the Mexican revolution in which Sean finds himself in spite of himself carried away.

Simply with my nylon classical guitar .. I had trouble reproducing this theme because I did not have a score,  so decrypted "by ear"
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

You have a very good ear, JP.
This is first class,
Your guitar has a brilliant tone, and so well played.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

You know, as I sit here and listen I'm thinking, no I know, I could probably never pull off something like this in my lifetime.
You have blended the guitars together so beautifully and your timing and changes are so fluid. Excellent!

BUMP Whith respect for this great musician dead this day

Enio Morricone's film music will stay in our heads for a long time...
Some people said that Enio Morricone's music was always a bit similar, nothing could be further from the truth.
I had taken great pleasure in recapturing that air of Once upon a time there was a revolution.
RIP Enio

One of my favorites of his movie themes. I missed this somehow - beautifully done, JP!

Great as usual. I had missed this the first time. A necessary bump.

The complete phrase in the movie (very, very harsh), is "...giù la testa, COGLIONE!" = "Down your head, you asshole!"  ;D ;D ;D
