As you know I like all sorts of guitars so I go from my classical nylon of the previous topics to my weissenborn Anderwood for this piece
This song is by Ry Cooder and appears on the album Crossroads (1986).
Just weissenborn and a knack, a jig to make " boom boom" with foot (?? Name)

thank you for listening
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

No, Not to my knowledge

Crossroad is a movie that I would like to see ! (can it be found on the Web?)

Crossroads is the soundtrack to the 1986 film starring Ralph Macchio, Joe Seneca and Jami Gertz, inspired by the legend of blues musician Robert Johnson.

The film was written by John Fusco and directed by Walter Hill and featured an original score featuring Ry Cooder, Arlen Roth and Steve Vai on the soundtrack's guitar, and harmonica by Sonny Terry. Vai also appears in the film as the devil's guitar player in the climactic guitar duel.

I remember searching for it a long time ago as I had recorded it from TV on a VHS.
I did find a copy, I think it's in .avi format, but looks & sounds much better than tape.

Man that Weissenborn sure sounds sweet. You have the touch on the strings JP.
I watched the YouTube videos of Rob Anderlik versions you based yours on.
That is some technique. I wish I could use finger-picks, but they make me feel
like an epileptic cat with tape on it's feet.
