I have worked at my current school for 12 or so years and have had the pleasure of knowing a dean at the school for a bit longer. I remember his son since that whippersnapper was knee-high to a grasshopper, and he just graduated music school (saxophone). Naturally, I applaud his effort to throw away any semblance of financial security for the lure of music.

When I found out the son (henceforth known as Neil) was coming to town, I tried to cobble together a jam that took place last Friday. I'm not saying that this exactly swings, but it's fun to be around weekend warriors brave and/or stupid enough to attempt a Miles Davis tune.

Lots of snip, snip in here for the better, but I think it's edited down to where it needs to be. I've never mixed a horn before, so this is new territory. Also, I have to mention the Catlinbread Adineko delay pedal. It's an emulation of the old oil can delays. A very cool, murky swirliness to this pedal you can hear in my sound at times. I know I'm going to overuse this thing.

Live in the living room into a Tascam DP-24SD. Lurker on vocals and EWC on second guitar.

What a beautiful version of all blues !
Really the level of performance is very professional and once again charmed by the guitar of Blooby; there is always unexcepted  musical phrase

bravo also for Drum, sax, 2nd guitar, bass all is very good

Hats off, gentlemen
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
