Apologies for the occasional post and then vanishing (is that "sub-lurking" or just being an ass?), but it is what it is as it's a crazy time of year. I did break away to my annual Wanee Festival a month or so ago, my favorite weekend of the year. It was a weird one because Butch Trucks was the initial impetus for the fest (drummer for The Allman Brothers who recently died in a pretty horrific manner). I got to hang out with BrettBob a tad. Very cool to talk music with somebody from my corner of the musical universe. It would be nice to just sit down over some beers and discuss bands with an improvisational bent. Next time, we need to play some guitars in the campground.

So I have posted a few tunes from what could be my new band. Very curious to see where this is headed. I know I have posted this tune many times and in many forms, but it serves as a bit of a litmus test for the bands with which I'm involved.

Lurker on vocals and EWC also on guitar. Live in the living room and then mixed in Studio One. Had to squash this mp3 in a big way due to its jammy and self-indulgent length.

Sounds fantastic, Blooby, the band sounds great. "Dreams" being my favorite song, feel free to post any and all performances here (I even took an acoustic crack [https://soundcloud.com/brettbob/dreams] at it myself a while back which I don't think totally worked). Most people get blown away by the guitar solo on "Dreams", and rightly so, but I found the percussion the most challenging (well, naturally, not being a drummer myself). Not because 3/4 is terribly hard, but "Dreams" rides a fine line between intense and subtle, it really gave me even more respect for Butch and Jaimoe (and Marc) every time I heard it.

Great to meet you at Wanee finally! Definitely next time we'll jam and talk some more music, or maybe I'll drop in to your neck of the woods. Wanee weekend always gets away from me far too quickly, next thing I know it's over.

Sound excellent guys! What are you doing for drums, playing to a click then adding later? I'm coming up the with my kit and sax to jam later this summer!

Very good guys! If this was a jam or semi jam it worked out great. Good vocal, guitar playing, cool bass and extra cool drums.

My Favorite Allman Brothers jam!,,to which you guys played great homage.

Every aspect is there, save that the second guitar could be turned up a bit.

Please let me know if this band ever heads up to North Carolina for a concert,
I will be there.

Now, Bloopy, I'll be listening to Duane for the rest of the weekend.

Superbly well done.

I have an electric kit so there is a live drummer (Dave).

Thanks for listening, folks.
