See what I mean, Greeny?  If you hadn't posted this with an explanation and a preemptive apology, the music would have stood for itself--and quite well.

You wouldn't have to dig far to find my political sentiments on various subjects.  And I write political songs too.  But seeing a political debate in this forum just seems icky to me.  Can you boys and girls take this outside?

I just felt uncomfortable posting it without any warning / explanation. But I never figured on all this when I logged on this morning. Live and learn I guess.

I'm hoping that's an end to it though...

anyway, cool song. has a bit of a oasis-revolutionnr1-song-vibe for me. can't really explain. good singing as well. yeah

Great song as a song by itself.

As a political statement it is also great.

Music has always been used to make people think. 10 different people hear a song and can have 10 different interpretations. Only the writer can say who's right. If it stirs up some controversy, even better. At least it's making people think about some things they probably ignore. Music has the ability to change public perception and in turn make changes to the world.

Personally i love the fact that this song has caused a bit of controversy. As long as people can make their point without resorting to bitchiness or aggression then bring on more songs like this i say.
