So this is the updated harmonica version of this track.
It was originally going to be a bit of light harp on the intro, first solo harmonica, second solo guitar and then outro solo of guitar vs harmonica. Then Ray opened up on that outro and it was to good to play over so I just let him go off leash.
It's funny, this tune was originally recorded just as a quick demo to give to a band I was using for a gig a little while back, but I really liked the rawness of it so decided to build on it. The vocal part was just a quick first take, (there's a bunch of coughs in it), that I was always planning to redo, however I quite like how rough and dirty it is.

Check it out.

I think I remember a version of this from Dr Feelgood - I could be mistaken; it was a lifetime ago..
This is a great authentic sounding Texas blues shuffle, great harp work - as has been said - and I particularly liked the country style guitar picking, definately not the cliche blues licks one might expect to hear.
A great growling vocal that fits the style perfectly...
There is a beautiful symphony playing within us all..
