I had recorded a couple of short songs that focuses on vocals and acoustic guitar. I thought each was too short to stand alone so I coupled them up. Same guitar and same voices in each, lol. It just worked out that one ended and the other started with the same open note so that's where/how I joined them. I'm not sure if it works perfectly but now I can present 3 minutes of music to listen at.

Your background vocals are just ridiculously good. Do you usally work with harmonies or unison lines?

Lovely playing, especially in Part II.

They manage to work together rather nicely I would say.

Gorgeous, Farrell! Those harmonies are just superb... it's like they're on rails: so accurate & and melodic. This whole combination of two songs reminds me of The Beatles & the Beach Boys working together. Magnificent!

Blooby: I usually work with harmonies but it depends on the main vocal melody. Some melodies to specific chord progressions don't fit well with the style of harmonies I like to use so I'll go with unison type of backing vocals. Disclaimer: I don't really understand music/harmony theory, I just follow the chords with the harmony lines I choose. I  make sure the starting note is part of the beginning chord, the transition to the next chord fits, and the landing note is part of the chord I'm heading to. I'm sure there are musical terms for that but I have no idea what they are. I just follow my ear.

Johnny: Good catch on the Beach Boys/Beatles compare. I have to admit that Brian Wilson's backing vocal style was an influence for the first part and that CS&N was for the second but it's hard for me keep The Beatles' vocal stylings out as they always seem to sneak in.

Thanks all...very much appreciated!
