This one just sort of came to me, normally i do my LITLR songs on my microbr but is giving me card read errors, so will have to source some old small SD Cards.

anyway i recorded it live with my BR800 built in mics, couldn't find a setting that didn't pick up lots of noise, so turned all the presets and effects off, then once recorded removed the noise and hiss using cool pro edit which i believe is an old version of audacity.

anyway it is what it is.

six foot long by four
a big ole metal door
a piss pot on the floor
now who could ask for more
i couldn't ask for more
i mark time on the wall
each day i count them all
i count them over and over
now who could ask for more
i couldn't ask for more
now every guy in here
we all survive on fear
and go to bed with tears
in our eyes
in our eyes
with tears in our eyes
i know what i'm here for
you see i broke the law
two thousand days to go
now who could ask for more
i couldn't ask for more
i think of you each day
but you're so far away
but you still come to see me
now who could ask for more
i couldn't ask for more
I Couldn't Ask For More

You had my attention from the beginning. Your vocals sound good just like your right next to me.
Fantastic song and recording James... as you would say FMGWABP.

Nice one James, Good clear sound,
I too struggle with the BR800 trying to get a setting without picking up lots of noise,
But you certainly have done it here....

I do like this James. As said, very warm sounding recording and your song writing experience shows. Not trying too hard, just sounding amazing doing what you do.

Brilliant song James,I missed this one, playing catch up here, been so busy lately, hard to get time.
Things are calming down a bit so hopefully more time for play  ;D
I realy like this one,it's a sad subject obviously but there's a real chilled out relax feel to it.
