Very cool piece here, kind of Nilsson meets Newman with Martin producing. I like it a lot, sounds like you burned many many tracks to make it. And very well produced!

Ray Davies meets Al Kooper in a wholefoods cafe run by Vera, Chuck and Dave. They have milky coffees and discuss their love lives, occasionally interrupted by Viv Stanshall who's listening in at a nearby table. Outside, World Party is putting up posters for a variety show starring Inspiral Carpets.

Uuuhhh ... I think I got carried away there. But this is an outstanding track! It's well written and well recorded, the playing and singing are first rate and a great match for the style of the song.

This is seriously wonderful, at least to my ears. Please do post the lyrics -they're great to listen to, and it would be excellent to read them through. Then it would be seriously wonderful for my eyes as well.

I have to hand it to you: dusting off the BR1600 has clearly been a great move.

I'm not sure about the Rocky Balboa line, I'd cut that verse out if it were me.

I also think the Karen reference should be more specific (sorry it means nothing to me - they are all really old/classic references Karen Carpenter?)
