Hi all, just back from Lanzarote and real sun. Mrs Willie has gone shopping and I've done my chores so it's play time.
Hope you enjoy.   Willie

I stood in line with the rest of the crew
Just trying to get a good look at you.
I stood for hours in that same old place
Just trying to catch a glimpse of your face

Would I know you, Would you know me
I wonder now
How you got where you are
I wonder how.

I moved on forward 'til I got a look
Standing there with my autograph book
You haven't changed now, you still look the same
Do you remember when we played those games

Would I know you, Would you know me
I wonder now
How you got where you are
I wonder how.

Instrumental

Would I know you, Would you know me
I wonder now
How you got where you are
I wonder how.

I pass on by but we didn't speak
I just know that my heart missed a beat
Have you forgotten all those times that we had
Guess you must have and that makes me sad

Would I know you, Would you know me
I wonder now
How you got where you are
I wonder how.

I could spot your songwriting & lush, layered guitar parts from a mile away! This is classic Willie. Brilliant work, mate. Up there with your best  :)

Lovely tune, but your vocal really takes center stage. You have a great voice and phrase just so bloody well. Makes me jealous. Some cool synth sounds in there that work well in this production.

I'd be curious to hear a version without the rhythm guitar to let the arpeggiated guitar/bass/drum provide the support. I think the song sounds great, but that main rhythm guitar I find a bit distracting to the vocal I dig so much. One man's opinion only.

It's got those trademark Willie sounds. I love it. Its a great tune Willie. Vocals are great, but the tune is the standout. It's going into Tom Petty territory for me.

ROck on.....!!
