This is a backer I sent to Kenny ages ago & forgot all about it. He then sent me what he'd done with it last week & suddenly I remembered. The only problem was that the Cakewalk project was still on my old PC. Luckily I'd backed it up to an external drive so I was able to finish the mix & put a solo in.

Structure-wise it's quite similar to "I Don't Care" another song we've done together recently... maybe I was in the same frame of mind when I put that backer together... who knows?  ??? :)

Anyway... all the usual suspects were involved: tele, Harley Benton, Tonelab, Cakewalk etc.

Thanks for listening, chaps! And thanks to Kenny for a superb lyric & vocal performance :)

Catchy piece of music here! Well sung and played!

The solo is phenomenal and the bass line is great, too...sounds a bit like Bruce Foxton plays it!

Greeny

It sounds so confident and effortless. Sheer quality right across the board. And that's one hot solo. And a key change too!

A killer of a collab. Great work!

p.s. That chorus has already wormed into my brain.

SwanSong

Wonderful song well constructed and nice write up about it .
like cleaning an old dusty 45 rpm but well done in all aspects
full of life enjoyed all the way Cheers Neil

Nice post. As others have said, very catchy. I love how gainy yet uncompressed those big chords. Another scorcher of a solo, and those vocals (w/BG vocals) are just flippin' great.

Love that little breakdown section as well right before the modulation. You guys have really churned out some great stuff. Look forward to more.
