This just a little instrumental version of the tune that I like.
I have to say that I'm quite pleased with on board amps on the BR800, they do sound rather alright for a little plastic box.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Thanks mate, it's taken me a bit of a while to get back into using the BR 800 and I just haven't had a whole lot of time to explore many of the features. Which I suppose is why I've mainly been doing acoustic tracks just using the inbuilt mics.
There's nothing fancy about the guitar I've used on this track, it's a Squire Telecaster copy which I've changed out the pick ups. So many of the preset sounds on the BR 800 sound really nasty and overblown to me, but once you start rolling back the guitar's volume knob some of them start to clean up quite nicely.

I'm sorry Kenny, I don't have the technical know to convert the track to mp3 and shrink the file size down to 7341kb.

I've put the you tube address beneath the original clip.

I'd be interested in your feedback on this track, it was done rather hastily and I'm thinking about trying to do a few more tunes in this in this sort of faux Jeff Beck-Lite kinda style. I was putting together a similar version of A Whiter Shade of Pale last night, but it's hard not to stray into "elevator musicland" when you're using these on board drum tracks.

That's a beautiful tele sound you've got there... ballsy & rich but still with plenty of tele "bite". What pickups did you put into the Squier? They sound immense! Love the Stones-y playing too... it takes me right back to the early '70s. Loved it!

It's one of those Squire Classice Vibe Telecasters, it's a pretty big step up from the standard entry level stuff that they do and they're quite a bit cheaper than the MIJ OR MIM Fenders out there. Properly set up its a beautiful guitar. The original pick ups are surprisingly good, but I wanted even mor TWANG.
I've tried a couple of different pick ups in it before I settled on the Seymor Duncan Antiquities (60's soul).
