I'm cover kinda busy lately, working/performing. I've started 2 new CDs for my alter ego that supports my family & will be writing & producing through the summer. The Alveration Idea had been great for capturing songs quickly for later production. With that said I don't see me writing Hook songs for a while, nor do I imagine I will be producing many of my 50's covers but I can't pass up this fest & the opportunity to learn as many great classic gems as I can.

This is fab, Hook. Really dig the spontaneous feel, and that Satchmo-style scatting.

I remember liking the original by Fats Domino from when I was very young - maybe 4 years old? Very likely among the first Fifties songs I had ever heard (the decade itself was before my time).
