I have to thank a lot the Adminstrators of SC for this JazzFest, it was the right reason to pay my tribute to some of the Jazz Greats.

To finish, here is my version af another classic, Cantaloupe Island by Herbie Hancock.

I don't know if I've succeeded, but this time I've tried to recreate a certain "Seventies sound", someway a mix of Motown, Nucleus and Starsky & Hutch  :D

Techincal stuff: my usual rig for this Jazzfest

Drums - piano - bass: BIAB backing realtracks

Brass: Kontakt library via a Godin ACS SA - > Boss GP-10

guitar: Yamaha SA2200

Enjoy!  :)

I certainly did enjoy, Alfredo, another lovely piece from you. Great playing and you have achieved that 70's sound for me.  And the bass is awesome too

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Really dug this. How'd you get the solo guitar tone? Is that fairly compressed?

Nice post.

A classy cover, a lot of style on your guitar playing
