Hi all,

This Beatles song composed by Paul McCartney was the closing number to Young Talent Time a popular long running television show here in Australia which showcased young singers.

I think I unconsciously changed the key after reading part of an arranged transcription I found in a Classical Guitar The Beatles book I own.

The book's arrangement is in A. The original key is in E and my cover is in G.

According to my research Paul McCartney originally envisaged it as a country and western song.

I would like to think my instrumental cover of this song to some extent lies within that genre and I must say learning to play George Harrison's solo in a different key was not that difficult for me.

I'm lazy.

Four guitar tracks - 1. Rhythm guitar 2. Fingerpicking guitar 3 & 4. Main melody and solo.

Bass and Drums.

Well done sing?! You have made fine version of this in the C/W style. It would fit nicely in one of those western movies that starred Clint Eastwood...like The Good, the Bad and the ugly or High Plains Drifter.
