Ahhh!!! That's what that sound is produced by... A hammered dulcimer! I've heard this sound on so many old film scores... "The Ipcress File" springs to mind, for one. This is a superb slice of improvised, atmospheric music. The sort of thing that should be heard gently wafting on the breeze as an accompaniment to meditation in an oriental garden. Briliant stuff!

Great job Hook! Not just an impressive bit of playing that takes a ton of great hand to eye coordination but an excellent sense of timing and dynamics. The tune you have shared most definitely has a very eastern vibe, which i loved. Cool arrangement with lots of creative interludes. The instrument has a wide range of applications, and i think you are the guy to find them all! Also a very nice job on the video aspect and recording. You captured it all very well. A most enjoyable tune! Bravo!!!
