Hi all, I'm afraid I'm another one thats a bit lacking in attendance at the moment. Mrs Willie has just retired and wants to go places and do things which means my playtime is a bit shorter than I would wish although it is a pleasure having her to myself again. Anyway, a bit of a rush job while she's driven into town to meet some friends. I hope you enjoy.
Regards Willie

Sometimes you gotta take the rough with the smooth
Sometimes you'll be winning, sometimes you're gonna lose

You don't know, you don't know, you don't know
What's coming on
You don't know, you don't know, you don't know
What's going wrong

Sometimes you gotta take the road in your stride
Sometimes when you're lucky you're gonna get a ride

You don't know, you don't know, you don't know
What's coming on
You don't know, you don't know, you don't know
What's going wrong

Sometimes it breaks my heart when I think of you
Sometimes it's back to the beginning and start anew.

I completely understand where you're at with Mrs. Willie retiring...my Mrs. Jackson retired last year. It does require some shuffling of priorities but trust me it does settle down after a while in a good way.

On to the song: I like this country rock style with the philosophical lyric. You are doing some excellent vocals and guitar work here. I like how you used the backing vox to transition seamlessly into the bridge. Well done Willie!

True words indeed Willie. Ya just never know what's around the bend.

Always enjoy listening to you sing...i like your vocal tone and your phrasing.

My wife just went to working part time..nice to be able to do more things together. It takes some adjusting tho...

All in all, a good tune here Willie. Loved the message. Nice post.
