Iron Fist...

I couldn't play it through in one go so basically I played a verse and chorus stopped, then did the next verse / chorus, another breather and then the last. I left gaps for the 2 solos and stuck them in last (with difficulty). Hat goes off to Fast Eddie Clarke who i looked up on YouTube playing the Motorhead version, pretty damn good, his version is on the link well worth a look.

Anyhow... its pretty rough but here it is...

So good Mike. It sounds like it was played all in 1 go, sounds excellent. Nice playing. Raise the vocals just a tad!

Thanks for the recording info.
It's nice to see I'm not the only one who often records in small steps, rather than 1 giant leap  :D
Valiant attempt too  :)

Nicely done Mike, playing at speed is not easy to do, I found that my hand cramped up - so understand the approach :-) Great stuff, enjoyed that.

Saw this posted on Friday and have been eagerly waiting to listen.  And now I have and have a big smile on my face.  Badass, indeed.

Nice, man. I often do the play then take a breather approach these days, mostly for my memory's sake.

Great post. A good tribute.  On that note, Jack Daniels has a limited edition Motorhead offering right now.

I would never have spotted the joins if you hadn't mentioned them. Superb cover, mate :)

Zoltan kindly bumped my cover of Too Late Too Late and I've been having a poke around some of the other songs in the Lemmy fest. This one is a particular favourite of mine.  Great version, Mike.
