So,,long time no hear,,,! Sorry, life,,,ya know?
Anyway,
This song reflects in the beginning, the sorrow for the people in France, and elsewhere ,,Their sorrow cannot be measured,i'm sure.
The middle eight,,well,it's music..I guess ,just to remind the one's still here with us,that life/music must be remembered, and lived...
Guess, that sums it up pretty much.
Hope you enjoy,a Merry Christmas to You and Yours...Make it great. :]
"In a Baker's Home,
Waits until his father gets home,,He'll wait on the porch,
He'll wait everyday.
In a Baker's Home,wait's until his mother get's home,
He'll wait on thi sporch,
He'll wait everyday,,
Wish they dident carry them away...
Oh my Sisters, Get your strength from the skies..
The Day grew Dark, and we don't know why..
Ya never know,,Which way it's gonna go,,
Ya never know, when you don't know..
As the Ocean, draws it strength from the skies,,
Th day grows dark, remember the Light...
Ya never know ,,where it's gonna go,,
Ya never know, when you gotta go..
You feint with your left,You hit with your right,
You stand all alone, but your feelin alright,
If you can make it through this hour,
You can make it through the night.Wish these days could last all night!
When ya  come along Honey..
Who ya gonna call when the train is in sight?
So ya dig down deep, then ya hold on tight..
Don't wait another hour, don't wait another night.
I wish these days dident last all night....

The tempo change into the chorus grabs me immediately. And I like the way the middle eight adds contrast (well, the middle twenty by my count).

What might I tweak if this were mine? I'd probably pull back the vocal effects a bit, and bring the drums forward. I always think that having drums up front keeps me honest: it exposes the small timing inaccuracies I need to tidy up in my playing.

Nicely written, Mr Bud.
Dueling BR1600s. Beats banjos.

MrBud

Yes,agreed,and thank's for the input..
Need an honest "pop" on the drums, keep's it real .:]
Thank's for listening...

A fabulous song. Great arrangement. It's got a bit of a Supertramp vibe to it to my ears. Brilliant work, mate :)
