It makes a huge difference, Trev. To my shame, I don't own an acoustic but anyone interested in getting a gorgeous "unplugged" sound into a desk needs one of these, I reckon.

It does sound sweet. I probably would have considered it 4 years ago when I was playing the clubs/bars/resorts but my current audience is a little less critical of my tone and sound quality. I'm feeling less and less tempted now that I have a small storage unit of gear I still don't know how to use.
