I improvised the cuatro/vocal part last week in the car, made the lyrics up on the spot. I added the 2nd vocal in the car on Monday & finally wrote the Tres part yesterday. All done on/with the 008.
Sad & Lonely
written by Hook
When will it come
& where it come from
& how will I know
without a doubt

who says
this is how it will be
where it go after me

I wanted to believe that there was more for me
I wanted to believe there there was truth
I wanted to believe that we had nothing left
there was just me & you
& I see you
sad and lonely too

When will you chose
when will I see
which one you chose for me

I wanted to believe that there was more for me
I wanted to believe that you & I had something real
I wanted to believe that all we knew was just make believe
together we would see

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

I dig the harpsichord like sound of the Tres and the Cuatro! I'm always amazed how quickly you write good music, words and record songs Hook. You've been on a roll since I've known you and I hope you keep on rollin' along at this pace. Another good one!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

That's a beautiful sound. Jangly, sweet and percussive, and the harmonies float above it all perfectly.

Superior stuff.

I'm loving the sound from those instruments, you are certainly building up a fine collection.
I'm feeling inspired by your recent work to go acoustic for a while.
I'm really needing to get a new one though that I'm really comfortable with.
And a nice 12 string  ;D

My, that is some jangly stuff there - love the sound of these two instruments together. Nice tremolo picking and vocals, too.

Jangle on!
