Funk tune in need of a vocal/melody

This is a tune I came up with for a songwriting partnership a couple of years back. The lyricist never got round to finishing it & I can't come up with a melody I'm happy with. Anybody else fancy giving it a try?

Hi Johnny,

Just listening to hear the track, not sure if can help singwise tho, I have downloaded it tho incase something comes to me (i am not really a singer but sometimes try to give it a shot). Anyhow, this is a nice little funky number. You got a nice little groove going on with this one. Love the intro motif and that funky rhythm on the verse is great, you just kind relax and let that chilled out guitar playing take over. Good track!

Excellent track. I think you should plop a lead in the vocal sections. It's the guitar whore in me speaking out.
