Two guitars and two banjos. I got the guitar part from 'Banjo Ben' whose site has lessons and TAB for bluegrass guitar, mandolin and banjo. When I was recording this, I thought it sounded okay, but afterwards, as always, self criticism kicks in: Too slow, losing the rhythm, falling behind the beat etc....oh well, keep on practising!

Irrelevant, but tomorrrow is my 21st wedding anniversary! Is that a record? Can anyone beat that on this site?
If the human brain was simple enough for us to understand, we'd be so simple, we couldn't...

I have done 27 years!  Having said that, she-who-must-be-obeyed has just come in so I'll have to listen later.  I can't have her thinking all I do is listen to music all day.....

I think the banjo sounds fairly good to my old ears....Congrats on making it though 21 years of marriage (provided nothing happens between now and tomorrow  ;D) !

BTW in 14 days I'll have you beat by 22 years...43 years of marriage on Sept. 2nd. I'm sure someone here has that beat also.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

I enjoyed that, very nice.

Never had much exposure to this style of music, so I'm no expert, but the playing sounded pretty competent to me.  My point of reference is the Beverly Hillbillies theme from the sixties, mind.

Congratulations on 21 years of marriage.  I've only racked up 11 years and counting, but it seems like no time at all.

Madam has gone to work again so I'm back to listen.  Don't be too hard on yourself - that's a great piece and I enjoyed listening to it.

Paul

Nice picking, I didn't notice any timing discrepancies but then we are always our worst critics. As a matter of interest Mrs Willie and I have been married 43 years. Mmmm feel some blues coming on.  ;D   Willie

The timing on some of my favourite old records is all over the place - who cares?
Enjoyed!
