It's the first time I've covered a Pulp song, even though Pulp are one of the biggest bands in my life for more than 20 years now.

It's a song from the 1994 His'n'Hers album.  And it was done on the Jools Holland show.

I had to admit defeat on the chorus vocal and drop an octave - I never realised what a huge range Jarvis has.

I don't know pulp nor do I know this song but I really enjoyed this listen. I totally dig that guitar lead line through the chorus, it's outrageously cool and you play it very well. Well done brother!.

I'm liking this too.
Pulp have some great songs & as you said Jarvis is a surprisingy hard act to follow.
The backing track is spot on. Particularly like the strings & the guitar.
