i had a walk up the kilpatrick hills to the greenside and jaw lochs with my good lady and dog (that is two other separate beings not one other person). and a big bumble bee followed me for miles.

Great Captain's ghost , I'm getting a strong Beefheart association with your guitars and vocal delivery. And what a beautiful landscape - it reminds me of Maine, where I live: but we're not that green yet.

Hope the bee wasn't bothering you too much. We have flower gardens in back of the house (still waiting for spring to arrive in earnest), and plenty of bees in season and I love 'em (spiders, too).

Not at all what I expected......I guess I should always expect the unexpected with the good mad Sir James..........well then, on to the music......thats a groove, deep angular propulsion of a groove.....its unique all by itself.........and then the brooding lyrics to hammer the strange feeling home.......its a cool piece of musical art.

I'm actually going to make a point of going there at the weekend if it's nice,my daughter funnily enough went for the 1st time the other day with friends and came back raving about it.
Looks very scenic.

it was beautiful the other day Kenny. was a bit cloudy but when the sun broke through it was spectacular.

only twenty minutes away from  home. though a good two hour walk round both lochs.




by the way i was completely sober when i recorded this. i had better get off the wagon.
