My go at 'wrenching the hen' is a cover of the unsettlingly upbeat song about heart disease.

I made some really banal comment on the original thread, not having properly listened to the lyric.  here's my attempt to make up for it.

Hen - you have so much talent it's untrue

Awesome! I love that intro bass and how you changed up the drums.

Definitely different sounding but same vibe as the original. You are also great at this fest Nick.

Wish I could be as fast as you guys. If you can, keep em coming and put smiles on peoples faces.  :)

I had a sneaky listen to the original when I saw this posted up, as just wanted a refresher on it. I must admit that as soon as I heard the vocal come in the original I could almost hear you singing it....seemed the perfect pick.

Happy to report that this was the case, it's top cover Nick and the way you gently kick it off with them high end bass notes is wonderful and a nice little variation as it continues throughout the song.

The percussion sounds great, and some really cool variation and fills on the drums too.

Still one of my favourite Henwrench songs and now one of my favourite Tributes too.

Superb Nick,  the wrench is a fantastic songwriter, I love the arrangement you have created, and you have somehow managed to get the man himself into the mix, it's true to the original, I cannot praise this enough - it's bloody spectacular - going on the piepod

Like many have wondered if Micheal & Janet Jackson were the same person, I think you might just be a hen in disguise. Brilliant cover my brother, it fits you like an old sock that your big toe sticks out of.

How did you do it? How can people work stuff out? Incredibly true to the original, the tapped bass and solo must get a special mention. Dumbstruck, literally. Incredible. And once again, honoured.

A great tribute on an excellent Henwrench song Nick! The tapped bass and percussion are executed perfectly.....It made me pause from my morning bacon to listen intently  ;D
