Is there a 'SOLO' button on the BR1600CD?

More adventures in 'BR1600 Land' ....
One thing I'm really missing (and not finding) is a way of isolating single tracks. For example: I'm doing a song playback and I hear something amiss that's not right in the mix eg: a bad drop in, an out of time foot tap (I have an annoying habit of tapping my foot when tracking! Sometimes it can bring a bit of natural feel to a predominantly  acoustic composition but most of the time it's just plain annoying & doesn't fit! I then have to find the offending stomp & then edit it out or redo it). So my question is .... like the opposite of muting (which I found early on in my dabblings) where's the SOLO button?? There isn't one is there?! Hmm ... thought as much! That's a glaring omission by Roland - I used to use 'solo mode' all the time back in 'Computer DAW Land'! I guess I've just answered my own question here! The only way I can think to isolate a single track (ie: solo it) is to manually mute every other track (which is a royal pain in the asp!)

Yip that's it exactly - unless there is some neat trick that I've missed.

I don't have this recorder myself, but I checked the user manual online, and it it doesn't look like there is a track solo function on the BR-1600CD at all - so yeah, the only way to do something like this is to mute the other tracks.

Yep, no Solo functionality... it's a bummer, but you get used to it
